Southern California area nature lovers come out and smell the flowers right here in Los Angeles! The Puente Hills Preserve is approximately 4,000 acres of open-space located within a 30-minute drive from nearly anywhere in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. There are excellent monthly naturalist- guided hikes every third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at rotating trailheads throughout the Preserve. If you enjoy the outdoors, whether you are an avid hiker or a beginner you’ll love the free hikes at the Puente Hills Preserve. Bring the family, everyone is welcome. Leashed dogs welcome unless specified (No dogs allowed at the Sycamore Canyon or Arroyo San Miguel area).
