All trails except those at the Hellman Park Trailhead are open sunrise to sunset. Hellman Park Trailhead hours are as follows: open 9am-6pm June 1 through September 30, and 9am-5pm October 1 through May 31. All trails are closed during extreme or hazardous weather conditions, and 48 hours after continuous rain. Some trailheads take longer to dry than others; those areas may be closed for longer periods of time. Also, all trails may be closed during red flag days and the presence of other hazardous factors.

Trail access off Turnbull Canyon Road approximately ½ mile east of Painter Avenue.

Trail access is one half-mile north of Beverly Blvd., near Strong Avenue. No dogs, horses or bikes are allowed here. Good for the hiker looking for a level and gentle nature path.

The Schabarum Trail (Skyline Trail) can be accessed from this regional park, off Colima Road, just east of Azusa Avenue in Rowland Heights.

3283 Workman Mill Road – Rio Hondo Staging Area
The Schabarum Trail can be accessed from this location. This is a good fitness hike.

Trail access on Fullerton Road near Pathfinder and Harbor Blvd. Parking lot located inside the Preserve — go to the second gate, between East Road and Harbor Blvd. ADA accessible.
