Strap up your hiking boots to learn about the many varieties of flowers in the preserve that are preparing to bloom from from docent Bruce Everett. Bruce has been photographing the foliage in the hills for many years and produced calendars containing the flowers. If you ever wanted to know the names of the various trees, plants and flowers that are native to the Puente Hills.. this is the hike for you. We will meet in the Sycamore Canyon parking lot off of Workman Mill Rd. at 9 a.m. sharp.
Please remember to bring plenty of water. In the event of rain, check the Habitat Authority website to ensure the trails are open (https://www.habitatauthority.org).
If so, the hike will take place.
