A new habitat restoration project will be occurring within Powder Canyon starting this fall and the first stage is non-native tree removal. For the safety of the public, Purple Sage Trail will be closed from Buena Vista Trail west to the Schabarum Trail Sept 5-8 and Sept 11 from 7am-5pm. An alternate route is below (see map). Thank you for your understanding while we restore valuable habitat and continue to provide safe recreation for our visitors.
